plan to demolish it. The NESHAP regulations that the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency implements with help from the state
government regulates dust emissions during demolitions.
In December 2000, an Arizona construction company was
fined over $200,000 for dust emissions during a demolition
project. So when the dust settled, so did their bank account.
OSHA requirements also regulate a renovation or
demolition project. Asbestos must be removed by certified
individuals and their health is your concern.
