The difference between before and after is stunning. With adding windows to the side of the building, removing the old metal overhang and aluminum siding, then painting the side, adding the sign, and reconstructing the ornate brick work, the building is showing the character is once did.

Property information: Villa Environmental Consultants Inc., relocated in October 2000 to a brownfield located in downtown Benton Harbor. Villa remodeled the office area and plans to renovate the remaining 30,000 square feet and lease to other entities. This brownfield was under utilized since HY Firehammer Tires closed down in the mid 1990s. The building was constructed around 1920 and used as a creamery. In the 1950s, Hy Firehammer purchased the property for his tire service. |
